This Privacy Policy explains how Delta Tech Studios, operated by Trevor Mooney in New York, United States (“Delta Tech Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Tap N Jump, its player account features, its Discord Activity, and related support services (together, the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Information from you
- Player profile information, such as a chosen display name and profile preferences.
- Support communications, bug reports, screenshots, and information you include in an email to us.
- Information needed to verify and complete an access, correction, or deletion request.
Account and platform information
Depending on how you access the Service, we may receive platform identifiers and profile details from services such as Discord, Steam, Epic Online Services, Google Play Games, Apple Game Center, or Unity Authentication. This can include a user or player ID, username or display name, avatar, locale, linked-account status, and authentication credentials or tokens used to establish and maintain a signed-in session. When the Discord Activity is used, this can also include the Discord application, guild, channel, lobby, or Activity-instance identifiers needed to launch and operate the session and the permissions you approved during authorization. We do not ask you to send us your platform password.
Gameplay and transaction information
- Scores, statistics, game progress, virtual currency balances, cosmetic items, equipped items, achievements, and account timestamps.
- Multiplayer, lobby, matchmaking, session, and game-result information.
- Purchase or entitlement records, including product, transaction, entitlement, and fulfillment identifiers. Payment card details are handled by the applicable store or platform, not by us.
Technical information
Our hosting and platform providers may automatically process IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request time, referring page, diagnostic logs, crash information, and similar security or performance data. On supported mobile versions, advertising and measurement providers may process device identifiers, consent choices, and ad interaction information as permitted by your settings and applicable law.
2. How we use information
- Provide, authenticate, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Create and manage player profiles, linked identities, progress, inventory, scores, and multiplayer sessions.
- Complete purchases and deliver entitlements.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
- Detect fraud, abuse, cheating, security incidents, and technical problems.
- Measure performance, diagnose errors, and improve gameplay and usability.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as reasonably needed with:
- Service providers and platforms that provide hosting, authentication, multiplayer, cloud save, storefront, analytics, diagnostics, advertising, or customer-support functions.
- Other players when a feature is meant to be social, such as a display name, avatar, lobby presence, score, or leaderboard entry.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, our rights, or the public.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of relevant assets, subject to appropriate protections.
4. Third-party services
The Service may connect to third-party platforms whose own privacy terms also apply. These may include Discord, Unity, Epic Games, Steam, Google, and Apple. Their practices are controlled by their policies, not this one.
5. Advertising and website cookies
Supported mobile editions may use advertising services, including mediation partners made available through Unity LevelPlay, subject to the choices shown on your device or in the game. The Delta Tech Studios website does not intentionally use marketing cookies or third-party behavioral advertising at launch. Our hosting provider may still use essential technology and process request logs to deliver and secure the website.
6. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held. Data may remain for a limited period in backups after deletion from active systems.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of applicable Tap N Jump account information. Email deltatechstudios@gmail.com with the subject “Tap N Jump Data Request.” Include the relevant player name and platform account ID; we may need additional information to verify that you control the account. You can also disconnect linked services using platform controls where available. Deleting data may make account features, saved progress, or purchased entitlements unavailable.
8. Children and age requirements
Tap N Jump is a family-friendly game intended for a general audience. The Discord Activity is not offered to children under 13 and may only be used by people who satisfy Discord’s minimum age requirement in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without any notice and parental consent required by law. If you believe a child provided personal information contrary to this section, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws from your location.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised version here and change the “Last updated” date. Questions or requests may be sent to:
